TO SET YOUR COMPASS FOR A WAY OUT
If you find yourself cast outside to wander in the wilderness, I have not forsaken you. In your independence, if you have run away from My workings in your life, I will still find you. You may be in cold place, and isolated and without fellowship. You may be given to spiritual slumber. But you will find in the morning when My Son arises, as you wake, I am still there, faithful, waiting for relationship. I have had mercy over your brokenness, beloved child. It is always My joy to give you My cloud, no matter where you are. As you spend yourself to seek My face, I will open your eyes and bring My mysteries to life and set your compass for your way out of a cold and lonely place.
1 Kings 19:4-5 NKJV
But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.”
