SELF PITY
My child, when you wallow in self pity, this is an open door to the demonic spirit that torments. Take your thoughts captive in obedience to My Word. Remember David’s example who strengthened himself in the Lord. Remember that I AM the Comforter. When you flounder in self-pity, this is like an idol that takes My place in your life. Repent now and come into Papa’s arms.
1 Sam 30:5-6 NKJV
Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.
John 14:16-18 KJV
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter , that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth himbut ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortlessI will come to you.
