MY RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHIN YOU
Precious child I have witnessed your comings and your goings. I have seen your successes and failures. I know how hard you try to please Me, to give Me pleasure. You have totally won my heart precious one, not because of your successes, but because I see how hard you have tried throughout the years. You give Me pleasure because you check in with Me, asking Me if your choice will give Me pleasure. Then it gives Me such pleasure when you ask Me for help to make a right choice and then follow through with that choice. My joy is in your clinging to Me as your Source and our mutual fellowship in your trusting Me to help you accomplish what you cannot do on your own. My joy is in your persistent faith and trust in Me.
You have learned so many lessons about righteousness in your journey with Me. In trying to obey My Word, you learned obedience as a slave to his Master. And you learned your flesh couldn’t do that on its own. In trying to gain more of Me, you have learned that no matter whether you belly flop or rise in victory, My love for you does not change. You cannot win My approval dear one, you are My child and you already belong to Me! Finally in your reciprocal love for Me, you have earnestly desired to give Me pleasure. Through many ups and downs you have learned that your success at being righteous in My eyes is totally based on what Jesus did for you because you could not do it on your own. Your righteousness is always through faith and reliance on Me. Because are righteous in Me, always walk worthy of such, in My righteous ways.
Jeremiah 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name by which he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Romans 4:22-25 And therefore it was imputed to him (Abraham) for righteousness. 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.
