I AM THE SAME
As I was from the beginning, and as I AM tomorrow, I AM the same today. I AM the same God of the patriarchs, and the same God of the Gentiles. I AM the same yesterday, today and forever. I AM jealous for your affections. My love is intense and pure and I show mercy to those who love Me. I show loving-kindness to thousands. I visit the iniquity of the fathers upon their children and give every man the fruit of his own doings according to his ways. I AM the God Who delights in loving-kindness, judgment and righteousness in the earth. Therefore, My beloved ones, plant and reap; your harvest you shall keep.
Deut 5:9-10 NKJV
For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Jer 32:18-19 NKJV
You show lovingkindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them — the Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the LORD of hosts. You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings
