BREAKING CODEPENDENT ADDICTIONS
The dark oppression of the world’s carnality is moving towards gross darkness. This is driving emotional sufferers to seek any kind of momentary help for even a brief escape from torment. Even among My own people, there are over 900 million who are unable to get through a day without the temporary fix of leaning upon an addiction.
Within the spiritual realm of any codependent relationship, there is a symbiosis where both parties must agree and come into team ship in order to have their needs met. It is like seeing half of one handicapped person connected to half of an alien body; both riding in the same wheel chair and cooperating together in order to accomplish a goal. They must partner as a team in order to find the peace they need. Dear ones, that is the description of My people when joined with the demon of their addiction.
My people receive a temporary fix for their emotional need, and the demon receives a temporary fix for his ravening appetite. These addictions are in many forms such as chemical dependency, smoking, drinking, gluttony, reading, television, media and entertainment of all kinds. They spiral down to sexual sins of porn, masturbation, and sexual contact outside of marriage. They also relate to childhood emotions of bonding to people in codependent relationships that are destructive and abusive.
I have grieved over their torments and want My people set free from the spirit of the world that drives them to codependent addictions for comfort. These idols are taking My place as Comforter in their hearts, motives, habits and choices. These false gods provide a counterfeit peace that is a temporary escape from the oppression of the soul. I want My children to walk fully stable in their right as royal children of the King. I want them to be My vessels of glory and not demons.
This is a massive need, please lift up this intercession on a corporate level and begin to break the dominion of emotional, codependent addictions that are holding My children back from their rightful inheritance in Me.
2 Chron 7:13-15 NKJV
When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
